Come down to the Currumbin Pub on 10th of March for the launch of Augusta’s new EP ‘orguddah’, with support from Port Royal, Stingin Rogers and The Lonesomes!

AUGUSTA are set to make their mark on 2018 with the release of their debut EP ‘orguddah’, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the band’s name. Taking influence from the likes of Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, the Gold Coast 5-piece pride themselves on their powerful live performances, combining their riff-heavy rhythm sections with wailing vocal arrangements to provide a killer show for all.

Brisbane’s PORT ROYAL, with their modern spin, antics and persona’s formed in mid-2015. After not long, it was May 2016 when they released their debut EP ‘The Express’. Following their debut EP, this rock quartet landed their first real support slot with Sydney-based Castlecomer. They later had a month long residency at Greaser Bar and then won the 2016 Amped Up competition held at The Triffid. Australian blues-inspired rock and roll band giving the kids something to believe in!

STINGIN ROGERS will slap a big grin on your face and leave you with a bunch of new mates. Don’t worry about keeping an ear out though, you’ll hear ‘em coming. Taking cues from all the usual suspects from Fleetwood Mac to Arctic Monkeys, Stingin’ Rogers are on a tilt to carve their own spot in the Australian music scene, as one of a growing number of killer bands coming out of the Gold Coast.
